1. About Empty Leg Scanner

Empty Leg Scanner (‘the Site’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) is an online listing platform operated by Liam Bell trading as Empty Leg Scanner at emptylegscanner.com.

The Site lists discounted empty leg flights offered by private aviation operators (‘Operators’). Passengers (‘you’) can browse those listings and contact operators directly to enquire about a flight. Empty Leg Scanner acts solely as an advertising and introduction platform. We are not a party to any contract for carriage, and we do not take bookings, process payments, or act as an agent for any party.

The Site is free to use for passengers. No payment or registration is required.

2. How These Terms Apply to You

2.1 If You Are Browsing

By accessing and using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with these Terms, please stop using the Site.

You also confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. The Site is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

2.2 If You Are Subscribing to Flight Alerts

When you submit your email address to subscribe to flight alerts, you are actively confirming that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have read and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy
• You consent to receive flight alert emails from Empty Leg Scanner
• The email address you provide is your own

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on the Site. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Browsing and Enquiries

You may browse all flight listings on the Site without creating an account.

When you click an enquiry button or link on a flight listing, you are connected directly with the relevant Operator via their nominated contact details. Empty Leg Scanner does not take part in, monitor, or bear any responsibility for any communications, negotiations, or agreements you make with an Operator following an enquiry.

4. No Booking Service

The Site is a listing and introduction platform only. We do not provide a booking service, issue tickets, or process payments of any kind. Any contract for the carriage of passengers is formed solely between you and the Operator. Empty Leg Scanner has no involvement in and accepts no liability for any such contract, including if a flight is cancelled, delayed, altered, or does not meet your expectations.

5. Accuracy of Listings

Flight listings are created and maintained by Operators and are not independently verified by Empty Leg Scanner. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any flight listed on the Site. You should verify all details — including price, aircraft, route, date, and capacity — directly with the relevant Operator before making any booking or financial commitment.

6. Email Flight Alerts

You may subscribe to receive email alerts when new flights are listed from or to an airport of your choice. We will not use your email address for any purpose other than sending flight alerts and related service messages. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every alert email, or by contacting us at hello@emptylegscanner.com.

7. Your Responsibilities

When using the Site you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or frivolous enquiries to Operators — a frivolous enquiry means one submitted without a genuine intention to book or for the purpose of wasting an Operator’s time
• Use the Site to harass, impersonate, or harm any person or business
• Attempt to circumvent or undermine the Site’s functionality or security
• Harvest or scrape data from the Site by automated means without our prior written consent
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation

8. Limitation of Liability

Please read this section carefully before using the Site to enquire about flights.

Empty Leg Scanner is an introduction platform only. We do not operate, manage, or take responsibility for any flight listed on the Site. Any contract for carriage is solely between you and the Operator.

We do not verify listings. Flight details are provided by Operators and are not independently checked. Always verify directly with the Operator before committing to a booking.

Our liability is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law for: any loss arising from your use of the Site; any inaccuracy in listings; any act or omission of any Operator; cancellation, delay, or non-performance of any flight; and any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8.1 Site Availability

The Site is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may suspend or withdraw access at any time without notice.

8.2 No Endorsement of Operators

We do not endorse, vet, or guarantee any Operator or the flights they list. Inclusion of an Operator on the Site is not a recommendation or warranty of their services, safety record, or regulatory compliance. You should carry out your own due diligence before booking any flight.

8.3 Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the Site or our service, please contact us at hello@emptylegscanner.com with full details. We will:

• Acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days of receipt
• Provide a full response within 28 days
• Where we are unable to resolve your complaint within 28 days, explain why and give an expected timeframe

Complaints about an Operator or a specific flight should be directed to the Operator in the first instance, as Empty Leg Scanner is not a party to any contract between you and an Operator.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Site, including its design, content, and software, belong to Empty Leg Scanner or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our written consent.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Operator websites. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content or availability of any third-party sites. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

If you are resident in England or Wales, any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are resident in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts. If you are resident in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland.
